The One Free World International team is back in the Middle East this week to support the Christian and Druze people under attack in Syria.
Over the summer Rev. El Shafie rang the alarm, calling for action to protect them.
If you are a Christian in Nigeria today, your life is at risk.
In different parts of the country, some Islamist rebel groups are blatantly targeting and attacking Christians. In other parts, a weak government unable to ensure the security of its citizens has led to a state of lawlessness that often breaks between inter-religious conflict.

Today is the 2nd anniversary of the October 7th Massacre.
This attack shocked the world, causing so much pain and suffering.
Heavy thoughts, painful memories, and an appeal for hope are what's on my heart and mind.
On July 27, 2024 a Hezbollah rocket attack killed 12 children in Majdal Shams, Israel.
To memorialize the 12 angels lost in that attack, One Free World International, Bridges For Peace, and Blue Flame 47 have come together to support the mourning Druze community to build a memorial garden at Al-Manahil School in Majdal Shams.

The world breathed a collective sigh of relief when news broke that Syria’s brutal fourteen-year civil war was over. The fall of Bashar al-Assad’s dictatorship felt like the long-awaited dawn after a dark and bloody night. Yet, our new report reveals, this new day is perilous, especially for the ancient religious and ethnic minorities who call Syria home. While the new leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, presents a moderate face to the West, the facts on the ground tell a story of escalating violence and fear. This is not a time for naive optimism, but for principled action and determined hope.
The Christian village of As Sawara Al Kubra, Syria is under siege by Syrian government militias.
Forces have surrounded the village and are blocking food and critical supplies from getting to the people there.
They are burning their homes and starting the horrendous act of ethnic cleansing.
This is an emergency in the truest meaning of the world.
We need your prayers immediately to help protect these people.
We need your help to contact your government and call for international pressure to stop the violence against this Christian community.
Call your MP. Call your Member of Congress. Call your Prime Minister. Call your President.
Ask them to put pressure on the Syrian government to stop the violence trying to force Christians and Druze from their longstanding homes in Suwayda.
The world must act now to stop a catastrophe.
We need your voice to ensure the cries for help are heard in the halls of power.
We pray for the people of Suwayda and for our leaders to act.
Thank you for taking action to help.
God bless you and those in need of protection from persecution to save their lives.

Where Syria President Ahmed al-Sharaa’s Forces Mobilize; Death & Destruction Follows
The southern Syrian city of Suwayda has been enduring a wave of attacks from Islamist militias turned Syrian national army. Dozens are dead and churches have been burned.
Today One Free World International (OFWI) is releasing a urgent report “Syria’s New Chapter: A Perilous Dawn for Minorities Under Al-Sharaa's Rule.”
Western governments, however, have decided that it is in their interests to support al-Sharaa. OFWI believes that this is a serious mistake and al-Sharaa’s claimed moderation is a mere tactical position. As a result, this report puts forward several recommendations to support minorities in Syria and hold al-Sharaa and his authorities accountable.
To realize a secure Syria that upholds human rights for all of its citizens, OFWI is offering the following recommendations:
