Horizon of hope
On August 4, 2020, an explosion in the Port of Beirut rocked the city to its core. Thousands of lives were thrown into upheaval in a moment and the beating heart of culture in the Middle East endured a massive blow.
Amidst the rubble, Beirut, the beating heart of the Middle East, survived. The passion and determination of the Lebanese people, who have endured conflict and suffering, rose to heal the wounded, mourn with those who lost, and with perseverance started the work of rebuilding Beirut.
The people of Beirut are not alone, and in 2021 we will bring resources and people together to offer a helping hand.
