OFWI Task Force for Israel

One Free World International Task Force for Israel

The founding members meeting at OFWI’s Toronto offices (March 2024)

Israel’s existence is being threatened. OFWI is spearheading a Task Force to support Israelis during this time of war and Palestinian civilians suffering at the hands of Hamas.

Our Task Force is uniting Christians, Muslims, and Jews together to help, and we want you to be a part of it.

Our first meeting took place at our offices last week in Toronto and we were joined by the Consul General and Deputy Consul General of Israel.

On April 25 the Task Force will host its first event in Toronto. Stay tuned for more details. Canadians from multiple backgrounds and ethnicities will come together, united for Israel.

The main purpose of the Task Force is to stand beside Israel and the Jewish community during the time of war, and stand against antisemitism in our great nation of Canada. Our nation is a temple of human rights. We also want to demonstrate our compassion and care for the Palestinian people, that they would be free from the grip of Hamas.

Members of the OFWI Task Force for Israel:

  • Rev. Majed El Shafie, President and Founder of One Free World International

  • Ms. Raheel Raza, President of the Council for Muslims Facing Tomorrow and Member of the Council of Muslims Against Antisemitism
