Stand With Ukraine | OFWI Frontlines Report
Russia’s unprovoked war has been horrific for the people of Ukraine. Since the military assault began in February, millions have fled the country, cities are being destroyed, and the need for critical supplies to sustain the Ukrainian people who remain is dire.
Majed El Shafie has returned home from Poland and Ukraine, where OFWI is delivering humanitarian and medical supplies to help the people of Ukraine. The need is great and we will continue to mobilize support to help people on the front lines and those forced to flee.
Since February, working with teams on the ground in Ukraine, Moldova, and Poland, OFWI has been raising funds in Canada and the United States to support a humanitarian response focussed on three priorities:
Getting desperately needed medical equipment & supplies into Ukraine.
Providing resources to mothers and their children who have fled with necessities of life.
Transporting supplies to orphanages and Ukrainians in Lviv to support those who remain to defend Ukraine.
